In Karaganda region, the production of buses was launched.
The new enterprise, located on the territory of Saran Industrial Zone, was established jointly with the world's largest manufacturer of public transport. The project cost is KZT 23 bln.
It is planned to assemble up to 1,200 buses and electric buses, and 500 units of various special equipment at the plant, annually. The production consists of several cycles – welding, painting, production of some components, a research center, and a test and repair line. The buses will be equipped with an electronic ticketing and surveillance system before leaving the plant.
More than thousand employees will be employed at the plant.
