On the territory of Kazakhstan, there are 1,740 retaining hydraulic structures (accumulating water: reservoirs, dams, dams, ponds, waterworks and main channels), including 515 in republican ownership, 983 in municipal ownership, 232 in private ownership, and 10 in ownerless ownership.
Currently, the issue of allocating funds in the amount of 1.1 billion tenge for the development of design and estimate documentation for the reconstruction of 20 emergency reservoirs (East Kazakhstan region-6, Akmola region-4, Zhambyl region – 3, Almaty, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, North Kazakhstan, Turkestan regions – 1 each) is being worked out. ![]()
